19 Sherlock Season 4 Twitter Fan Prediction

Season 4 of Sherlock could not come fast enough. No, seriously, it couldn’t come fast enough even if we wanted it to. With it’s main leads busy making movies, landing TV shows and staging the West End, fans will be lucky if they see the detective show in the year 2016. We all know about the upcoming Sherlock special in 2015, which means we get 4 full episodes of Shezza this time around (hopefully a reoccurring event in upcoming seasons) but what remains to be seen is it’s story arc.

In wake of BBC’s Sherlock winning 7 out of 12 awards it was nominated for at the Emmy’s, Sherlock’s co-creator and co-show runner had this to say:

‘We have a plan to top it. And I do think our plan is devastating,’ he replied.

‘We’ve practically reduced our cast to tears telling them the plan … we’re probably more excited that we’ve ever been about Sherlock.’

‘We’re going to try to take it somewhere we’ve never been before — and I don’t mean outer space,’ he explained.

‘It will be a challenging place to go. We always start with a re-introduction that builds toward a darker climax — we might just be going darker [from the outset]. We got a very, very good set of ideas,’ he added to Entertainment Weekly.

Damn you, Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss! Haven’t we suffered enough under your rule? But who are we kidding? We all love it. But what does this ominous message mean? Tears? Devastating?
